Infection control & decontamination in both the clinical and non clinical environment. Our online course will provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to keep both you and your patients safe. Now includes COVID-19 Awareness. A GDC registrant must complete at least 5 hours of disinfection and decontamination in each CPD cycle. This course provides you with 3 hours enhanced CPD. This course covers all the information required to meet the General Dental Council standards and covers the following: - HTM01-05 - Micro-organisms in dentistry - Personal Protective Equipment - Sterilisation and Disinfection of Dental Instruments and Equipment - Instrument storage - The difference between Coronavirus and COVID-19 - Understand the routes of transmission of COVID-19 - Adequate hand hygiene and government compliance relating to COVID-19 - The PPE requirements for patient interaction in surgery and public relating to COVID-19 - The latest guidance set by our regulating bodies relating to COVID-19
