Aims: By the end of this CPD the dental care professional should be aware of the different types of dementia and their implications to the dental team Objectives: - By the end of this CPD the DCP should feel confident in their abilities to understand how dementia may affect the brain - By the end of this CPD the DCP should be able to name the different types of dementia - By the end of this CPD the DCP should be confident in a variety of procedures in place for a patient with dementia.
