Medical Emergency Training with Risk Assessment & Management Our dental medical emergency training course provides all the up to date information needed to ensure you can prevent, diagnose and immediately treat any medical emergencies that may occur in the dental surgery. To comply with GDC Standards, all dental practices should carry out regular medical emergencies training, following guidance and training updates from the Resus Council. A GDC registrant must complete at least 10 hours of medical emergencies in each CPD cycle and the GDC recommends that you do at least two hours every year. This course provides 3 hours of enhanced CPD. Please note, this course does not cover CPR.
