Why choose Dental Training Ltd?
Our teaching staff are registered dental nurses so we know what its like to juggle a million things at once, however, we are lucky to now be working full time for DTL so we are easily contactable.
We keep our costs as low as possible so that learning is available to everyone, we even offer interest free payment plans!
We care about our students and will do our best to ensure that you pass your examination first time.
When you register with us you will be assigned a tutor to help you every step of the way and we encourage you to contact us with any difficulties or just for a chat.

We have been around a long time! – In 2011 our first course was fully accredited by the as a classroom course then in 2017 we moved all our courses to online learning. In 2019 Tracy bought the company and changed the name from Cavity Dental Training Ltd to Dental Training Ltd.
When does your course’s start?
We offer online course so you can enrol at any time convenient to you.
Do I need to attend a classroom ?
You will not attend any classes as all theoretical work is online. You will need to log in and work your through each module during your home study. It is advised that you do this 3/4 hours a week, along with reading the recommended reading material.
Is the exam online or written ?
The exam style is written MCQ & EMC. Once this section of the exam has been passed you will need to complete a spotter test and a practical examination.
What is the expected course duration ?
This course duration is between 12-24 months ns dependent on when you wish to sit the exam.
Your competency record sheets must be completed over a minimum of 3 months and must be completed 1.5 months before the exam. Please ensure this timeframe is achievable when you select your exam date to avoid additional incurred costs.
What exam target do you suggest ?
We cannot advise you on which exam date to choose but please ring us and we will try and help. Everyone will have different working circumstances which may affect the completion of the competency record sheets.
What does the fee cover ?
This fee covers your online theoretical work, your competency record sheets, a tutor and the examination fee (resit fee will be an extra cost).
Are there any additional costs ?
The only additional cost would be if you cannot take the examination in time due to non completion of the competency assessment sheets or if you need to resit the examination.
