What will you learn as an Apprentice Dental Nurse?

• Oral anatomy and physiology, respiratory and circulatory systems.

• How infectious diseases are transmitted and prevented.

• Dental materials, equipment, and resources.

• How to deal with medical emergencies.

• Legislative compliance and regulatory requirements.

• Clinical skills.

• Health promotion.

• Patient care and management.

 

How will you achieve your Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing?

​

You will complete an online portfolio evidencing your clinical support, be successful in the knowledge test,  and achieve a pass in the clinical assessment.

You will also achieve or evidence your level 2 Functional skills.

 

What qualifications you will achieve as an Apprentice Dental Nurse?

​

You will achieve the Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing.

Before taking your end-point assessment, you must achieve level 2 English and Maths (equivalent to GCSEs at grades A*|9 to C|4) if you have not already achieved them or cannot provide evidence confirming this.
