Important Information - Please Read
Exam Preparation Session: 9am Friday 29th August to 12:00pm (midday )Tuesday 2nd September 2025
Exam log in details will be sent to learners: Thursday 4th September 2025
Exam Day: Friday 5th September 2025
Results Day: Thursday 2nd October 2025

Learners must have devices switched on and be ready to start the logging in process 30 minutes before the start time.
They should be loading the app which they will have on their device from the Exam Preparation Session and using the exam login details. 15 minutes before the exam learners should click ‘test my system’ to ensure their device is running correctly to support the exam. With 10 minutes until the exam start time learners are able to complete the verification section in which their ID will be checked. Once these steps are completed learners should wait and watch the countdown for the exam to start.

Please be aware that during the examination you will be monitored throughout using Invigilation software in the Maxexam app. This will be done using your webcam and microphone allowing invigilators to remotely monitor your behaviour, in real time, during the exam. Your data is also available for NEBDN to review post exam for more in-depth analysis. The data will be stored, saved, retrieved, and disposed of in line with GDPR requirements.
It is important to remember that:

You must be in a quiet environment where you are comfortable to take your examination without being disturbed. Please ensure nobody else is in the room with you.

You must not obstruct the camera during the examination.

The use of Mobile phones, tablets and smart watches are not permitted during the examination.

You must ensure your workspace is clear; textbooks and exam materials are not permitted during the examination. However, learners can use a pen and paper during the examination to make brief notes

Please familiarise yourself with the NEBDN Learner Code of Conduct prior to the examination. Any behaviour deemed suspicious will be fully investigated by NEBDN.
